YOur story hand stitched

Looking for something completely unique to mark a special occasion? Our bespoke portraits are perfect for celebrating significant moments. I would love to collaborate on a handstitched memory. Let me bring your unique story to life through our exquisite hand-stitched portraits.

How does it work? From the very start, I will guide you through the process. It all starts with a photo, whether you have a photo in mind or want to schedule with me, that is our first step. Once we have the photo I will create a pattern and we can discuss timeframe and price. Once we are all in agreement the work will begin and you will have your artwork before you know it.

Maternity Commissions

A celebration of motherhood, each stitch tenderly capturing the grace, strength and fleeting beauty of this moment in time.

Commission a portrait that becomes an heirloom- a hand stitched remembrance of the life you carry and the love that grows within.

“With thread on linen Kelly captured beautifully the essence of my mother, who has Alzheimer’s, in a piece that feels timeless. The portrait depicts her as a young girl which is a perfect reminder to keep her whole life and inherent dignity in mind throughout this journey. The portrait Kelly created of my mom is truly a gift… And a treasure for our entire family.”

When I first saw this picture, I just said ‘Wow!’ It reminded me of the closeness I have with my son. How Kelly was able to capture this emotion and his likeness with needle and thread is nothing short of amazing

Remembering a Great Poet

I had the honor of doing a portrait of Saara Raappana, a Juniper award-winning poet who passed away earlier this year. Her journey was remarkable. I treasured getting to know her through her poetry. I hope this tribute brings joy to her loved ones.

If you are interested you can find her book on Amazon

I just received the portrait and it is stunning!! Thank you so much for putting your time and love into it. I can’t wait to give it to my cousin.
